AMERICAN SCHOOL OF BOMBAY

Maq Projects was commissioned by the American School of Bombay since 2001.

One of our major projects was the expansion of the main building which involved adding 25,000 square feet of new Floor Space Index (FSI) and approximately 50,000 square feet of designed interiors at different levels. We also designed an additional building within the Main School Building to house Laboratories (using Waldner Technique), music and choir Rooms, staff Rooms, classrooms, among others.

We were also responsible for the design and execution of an annexed Clubhouse/Outdoor Sports Facility that was allocated by MMRDA to both the American School of Bombay (ASB) and Dhirubhai Ambani School (DAS). The sports facility included running tracks, tennis and basketball courts, football ground, spectators' galleries, all built with international standards.

Another significant project that we executed was the design and execution of an Atrium, which added ESL Rooms, classrooms, med rooms, and other facilities totaling 40,000 square feet. We also carried out additions, alterations, and interior works to the library, entrance, and common areas.
